Community Resource Academy

For years, our biennial Leadership Academy – now known as the Community Resource Academy – has served up-and-coming leaders and newly-elected officials with an action-packed one-day program to help equip and familiarize participants with organizations and programs in-place throughout our communities.

Global Leadership Summit (GLS) – Local Host Site

For more than a decade, Barrington Area leaders have gathered each summer at Barrington’s White House as a Local Host Site for a live broadcast of the Global Leadership Summit -- hosted by BADC, in partnership with and through the generous financial support of the Barrington Area Community Foundation.

And, BADC has sponsored ongoing year-round Leadership Development refresher sessions.  This Barrington Leadership Network is now the Barrington Area Leadership Exchange – where ideas and insights are shared among participants – with both presenters and attendees discussing experiences of challenges and successes in applying leadership tools.
